Abstract Blockchain has recently been associated to Supply Chain Management solve several problems and change operations management processes. The study proposes analyse three different scenarios of the Parmigiano Reggiano supply chain considering blockchain technology as an enabler for use other technologies such RFID Internet Things (IoT) exploitation Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) strategy. is based on evaluation agent-based simulation scenarios, a traditional "as is" scenario, second "to be" scenario implementing emerging including blockchain, third “to be” that combines one with VMI optimization results show how combined adoption these improves procurement process customer satisfaction. Findings highlight impacts have in quantitative way allows evaluate changes By employing technologies, order activities are more automated time lead preparation reduced.
